What happens to your body?

During the second trimester. Your uterus will grow, and you may feel some discomfort or aches as uterine ligaments stretch. You will start to feel your skin stretch around your belly and your breasts, which may cause itching. Some women get stretch marks in these areas. while your baby weighs less than a kilo, your blood volume will increase to meet the demands of all the growth happening inside you, which will mean you will gain some additional weight.

Eating well and staying active and peace of mind is more important during pregnancy. It’s  good for your physical health and good for your baby too. Light-to-moderate exercise in pregnancy is usually safe.consider walking,yoga and meditation in your second trimester.High impact exercise and activities where there is a risk of falling will get hurt.strongly not to be recommended.

Expected Bodily Changes:

  • Body aches in the back abdominal, thigh region etc.
  • A streak on the skin enlarge from belly
  • Strain of dark skin frequently seen over the cheeks, forehead, nose, or upper lip
  • Numbness or tingling hands called carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Itching on the abdomen, palms, and soles of the feet
  • Swelling of the ankles, fingers, and face.
