Family planning is the ability of the couples to attain their desired number of children. It is achieved through use of contraceptive methods and the treatment of involuntary infertility. The patient will be discharged on the same day. She can resume her work within 7 days of the surgery and have to take precautions like avoiding heavy weight lifting.
Vasectomy:- It is an easier and safer procedure compared to tubectomy. No stitches are required in vasectomy and the recovery is quicker.
– Reversal is easier in vasectomy.
